SBV Stahltechnik:
Your complete partner for casting processes
SBV Stahltechnik manufactures technical castings that are functional, precise, durable, and economical. Whether investment casting, die casting or steel casting: We deliver assembly-ready components with tested dimensional accuracy, clear functionality, and certified quality.
Our casting processes at a glance
We offer four casting processes that differ in accuracy, material choice, and cost-effectiveness. Each process is individually tailored to your component, from prototype to series production.
Investment casting
Investment casting allows the production of complex components with fine surfaces and high dimensional accuracy. Even delicate structures and tight tolerances can be precisely implemented, ideal for stainless steel, steel, and aluminum.
Die casting
In die casting, liquid aluminum is injected into precise tools under high pressure. The result is dimensionally accurate, highly repeatable components with dense structures and short cycle times, perfect for series in automotive and mechanical engineering.
Water glass casting
The water glass process combines dimensional accuracy and cost-effectiveness. It is suitable for medium batch sizes, complex geometries, and robust steel or stainless steel parts, a cost-efficient alternative to traditional investment casting.
Vacuum casting
In vacuum casting, nearly pore-free, dense, and dimensionally accurate castings with excellent surface quality are produced. The process prevents oxidation and air inclusions, ideal for highly stressed components made of steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
About SBV Stahltechnik
For over five decades, SBV Stahltechnik has been a partner for demanding cast parts made of stainless steel, steel, and aluminum. From a small foundry, it has grown into an internationally networked company with plants in Asia and technical support from Germany.
Today we support customers from mechanical engineering, automotive, medical technology, and other industries from the first idea to the assembly-ready part. Whether investment casting, steel casting or die casting, each project is individually reviewed, technically advised, and implemented with clear structure.
Our services
Technical consultation
We review CAD data, material, and component geometry already in the concept phase. This ensures feasibility, stability, and economy from the outset.
Manufacturing and processing
We combine casting, milling, drilling, grinding, and hardening into a seamless process. Processing takes place in our partner plants under German quality control.
Hardening and heat treatment
In our own stainless steel hardening facility, we increase the surface hardness to over 900 HV without impairing corrosion resistance. Stress-relieving annealing and polishing are performed in-house.
Logistics and delivery
Call-off orders, series delivery, or full-batch, we deliver according to your specifications. Interim storage in Germany ensures short distances and high flexibility.
Industry solutions
Our cast parts are used in a wide range of industries. Each industry has its requirements, we provide solutions that fit.
Automotive & two-wheelers
Components for engines, transmissions, chassis, and structure ready for series production, light, and load-bearing.
Mechanical engineering
Housings, brackets, valve bodies, and connecting elements with precise fit and consistent dimensional accuracy.
Medical technology
Sterile stainless steel components with smooth surfaces for devices, holding systems, and instruments.
Food industry
Hygienic castings with smooth surfaces and dead-space-free design for equipment and fittings.
Hydraulics & pneumatics
Valve housings, adapters, and control components for pressure systems with high impermeability.
Rail & marine
Structural parts and connecting components with high strength and corrosion resistance.
Sanitary technology
Functional castings for fittings, connections, and valve housings – corrosion-resistant, tight, and ready for assembly.
What makes us a partner
Technical understanding
Our engineers and foundry technicians examine each component for cast-compatible design. We identify potential for cost and material savings already in the design phase and advise you directly based on your CAD data. This results in components that are convincing both technically and economically.
Global manufacturing, local support
Our plants in China and Thailand offer modern foundry technology with over 100 CNC centers and 30,000 m² of space. Project coordination, quality assurance, and communication are handled by our German team, ensuring clear responsibilities and on-time processes.
Sustainable processes
We operate with closed material cycles and energy-efficient furnaces. Through solar power, heat recovery, and digital production control, we minimize waste and energy consumption, achieving lasting quality with minimal resource use.
Direct communication
A dedicated contact person accompanies your project from the first contact to series release. You receive quick responses, clear decisions, and project management focused on efficiency and reliability.
Would you like to implement a new component or check if an existing part can be economically realized in casting?
SBV Stahltechnik supports you from the idea to the assembly-ready part.
