Environmental Protection even in the Far East
German quality, on-time delivery, and personal support do not exclude sustainable manufacturing. In our partner factories, we use recycling processes for water, wax, and steel. A large portion of the energy demand is covered by solar power. Moreover, our certifications and strict safety standards ensure safe workplaces. Thus, we guarantee that price advantages from the Far East do not come at the expense of the environment or people. We exemplify this in our factories in China and Thailand practically through the aforementioned certifications, as well as:

Our History
1972: Establishment of SBV by Josef Schnaberich
As a consulting and sales company for metal semi-finished products for vehicle and machine construction, Josef Schnaberich responded to the increasing demand for German metal semi-finished products from all over the world. Customer-specific solutions created a global network, especially in Asia and Latin America.
2000: Company transfer to Paul Schnaberich
With the generational change, experiences from the automotive industry flowed in significantly. The offer shifted from single products to series components ready for assembly.
2003: Collaboration with foundry in China
SBV established contacts with the ISO 9001 certified foundries Taizhou Jinding and Taizhou Xinyu in Jiangyan. Since 1996, they have been producing precision castings for mechanical engineering and automotive suppliers, particularly for the German market.
2006: Joint Venture Taizhou Autowel Manufacture
Under the name Taizhou Autowel Manufacture, a joint venture was created with the two foundries. Since then, high-quality, ready-to-assemble precision castings have been produced for the automotive industry and mechanical engineering.
2011: Commissioning of the XINYU Investment Casting foundry
To meet the growing demand, the new XINYU Investment Casting foundry opened in July 2011.
2017: Partnership Rapid Prototyping
The range of services was expanded to include rapid prototyping. The then partner company is now part of the Xinyu Group.
2018: Certification of the Xinyu Group according to IATF 16949:2016
With this certification, the Xinyu Group met the growing demands of the automotive industry and strengthened its international competitiveness.
2024: Establishment of a new investment casting foundry in Rayong, Thailand
With the new foundry in Thailand, SBV expands its production capacities and ensures customers shorter delivery times and stable supply.
