Foundry for Germany: Cast parts that combine dimensional accuracy and function
Are you looking for a foundry that masters complex geometries and delivers cast parts that function in series? We realize your components in investment casting or die casting from stainless steel or aluminum, with tested dimensional accuracy and functional added value. Our specialty: technical cast parts that can be directly integrated into your assembly or system.
Three casting processes, one contact person
SBV Stahltechnik offers cast components using 4 different processes. The right process depends on the component, the material, and the required quantity. We evaluate each project individually and provide advice focused on function, dimensional accuracy, and manufacturing logic.
Investment casting
The investment casting process is suitable for complex geometries with high detail. The shape is formed from a wax model, which is coated layer by layer with ceramic. This allows for undercuts and thin-walled areas to be represented.
Investment casting is particularly suitable for:
- Stainless steel, steel, or aluminum components with high dimensional accuracy
- Functional geometries with tight tolerances
- Components with delicate structures or limited installation space
- Small, medium, and large series with consistent part design
Die casting
In die casting, liquid aluminum is pressed into a die-casting tool under high pressure. The quick solidification produces a smooth surface and fine structure. The process is economically attractive for small and large production quantities.
Die casting is suitable for:
- Housings, brackets, and structural parts with series requirements
- Functional components with integrated mating surfaces or bores
- Parts with high repeat accuracy and machining friendliness
- Applications with short cycle times and high productivity
Water glass casting
Water glass investment casting is based on forms sand bonded with water glass. This process is particularly suitable for components with robust geometry, where a technically sound execution is paramount.
Typical applications are:
- Precise stainless steel or steel components
- Functional casting solutions for prototypes and small series
- Economic alternatives for larger wall thicknesses
- Robust constructions with flexible tool design
International manufacturing, technical support in Germany
We produce your cast parts in our factories in Asia. Modern production facilities, high manufacturing capacities, and proven processes are available there. At the same time, you have a fixed contact person in Germany. We take care of the complete project coordination, from the first inquiry to delivery.
Our strengths at a glance:
- Factories in Asia for the cost-effective production of TOP parts. More than 100 CNC machining centers and over 20,000 square meters of production space are available at each location.
- Technical advice on geometry, material selection, and casting-friendly design. You speak directly with experts here.
- Certified processes according to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001. We meet common requirements for quality, environment, and occupational safety.
- Flexible project execution with interim storage in Germany and delivery on call as needed.
- Design and prototyping also for small series, for example via rapid prototyping using 3D printing of wax models.
- Own stainless steel hardening in Germany. High-tech case hardening without losing corrosion resistance
Materials: Stainless steel and aluminum for technical requirements
We process stainless steel, steel, and aluminum in various qualities. Depending on the medium, temperature load, or mechanical stress, we select the appropriate alloy with you.
Examples from our material portfolio:
- Aluminum alloys such as AlSi12 for good flow properties and smooth surfaces
- AlSi10Mg for more stable, mechanically resilient parts
- Stainless steel grades like 1.4308, 1.4404, or 1.4848 for corrosion resistance and media suitability
The selection is done in close coordination with the customer. Our technical advice ensures that the material fits the application and casting process.

Services of the foundry SBV Stahltechnik
We see ourselves not just as a supplier of cast parts, but as a technical project partner with comprehensive support. We accompany our customers throughout the entire development and manufacturing process and, if desired, take care of all steps beyond that. Our goal is a result that integrates seamlessly into your processes.
Technical advice from the beginning
Even before the first offer, we check the castability of your component and provide advice on casting-friendly design. We clarify questions on function, material, tolerances, tool design, and economically sensible procedures.
Construction and optimization
We advise on component design and make suggestions for optimizing existing drawings. This allows functional elements to be integrated into the casting, saving subsequent processing steps.
Tool development and sample testing
We organize tool making with proven partners. We then produce initial samples and, on request, pre-series parts for functional testing and approval. All project steps are technically supported by us.
Mechanical processing and coating
Whether drilling, milling, grinding, or coating: we organize all processing steps after casting with our long-term partners. This way, you receive assembly-ready components from a single source.
Logistics, storage, and delivery
We deliver according to your specifications: as a complete batch, on-demand, or with interim storage in Germany. Delivery schedules, packaging, and shipping are individually coordinated. This way, you remain flexible and on schedule.
Heat treatment and stainless steel hardening
Our own stainless steel hardening facility enables tailored heat treatments such as stress relief, tempering, or improved corrosion resistance. This saves time, reduces coordination effort, and increases process security.
This is how your project with us proceeds
We accompany every casting project from the first contact to the finished delivery. Our goal is a tailored, economically sensible solution that reliably fits into your processes. The process is clearly structured and coordinated by a dedicated contact person.
Inquiry and initial review
You send us a drawing and 3D data, ideally with material preferences, quantity, and information on the application area. We check the technical feasibility and provide you with an initial assessment.
Consultation and offer phase
We clarify open questions, advise on casting and manufacturing-oriented design, and, if necessary, select the appropriate stainless steel grade with you. You then receive a non-binding offer with delivery time, tool costs, and project planning.
Tool construction and sample production
After commissioning, a final simulation is conducted to ensure an optimal casting process. We create the wax tool and produce initial samples for dimensional inspection, functional evaluation, and approval.
Series approval and production
After your approval, we start series production. The components are manufactured, tested, and, if necessary, mechanically processed or heat-treated.
Delivery as required
We deliver the finished precision cast parts on demand, in specified batch sizes, or as a complete charge. Intermediate storage in Germany is possible if needed.
Do you want to manufacture a technical cast part and are looking for a foundry that understands material, geometry, and process?
